East Lake Village is a Home Owner’s Association that charges a fee for services that are maintained by the association. Below are answers to some of the main questions that prospective homeowners may have. Please do not rely on this information as being the most current, but use for reference only.

Home Owner’s Fees approximately $585 per quarter for townhomes and $512 per quarter for single family homes.

HOA Fee Includes:

  • Basic Cable and Telephone provided through H-Control
  • Lawn Maintenance (on single family and townhomes)
  • Common Area Maintenance

As a homeowner you are responsible for:

  • Garbage removal which is paid annually in your taxes
  • Home Owner’s Insurance on the full dwelling (no part of your HOA fees go to the insurance on your property)

General Restrictions

  • Pets: Limit of two (2) pets. No breeding allowed. Household pets only. No aggressive breeds allowed. Dogs must be on a leash at all times when outside and owner must pick up solid waste. Yards must be kept free of solid waste material.
  • Parking: Residents and their guests must park in driveways or garages, or in common parking areas on a first-come basis. Commercial vehicles, boats and trailers must be parked in the garage. This prohibition shall not apply to pick-up, delivery or other commercial services being performed at the residence.
  • Fences: No fence, screen enclosure or pool shall be installed, except as may be approved by the Architectural Review Board.
  • Signs: No signs of any kind shall be displayed to the public view.
  • Hurricane Shutters: Shutters may only be installed during a “hurricane watch” or a “hurricane warning” and must be removed within 14 days after the storm.
  • Satellite Dishes: Must be less than 1.0 meter in diameter, installed away from general view, and must be approved by Architectural Review Board prior to installation.
  • Leasing of Units: Lease must be in writing and for not less than 6 months. Tenant must complete the Lease Information Package, pay the application fee and the refundable security deposit. There will be a criminal background check. The approval process may take up to 30 days. Owner shall be responsible for any violation on the part of the tenant.
  • Fences: No fence, screen enclosure or pool shall be installed, except as may be approved by the Architectural Review Board.
